CHANGE…e..ee…ehhh.. oohh..yeh..

change-greensign At the end of the blog you might think I was drunk while writing this, so let me clarify first “Daddy doesn’t drink”. I think it’s sperm of surat’s rain & holiday feeling which has given birth to this krakalaka idea.. aumm.. bole to sanki idea. I may sound little cranky or loose screw if you don’t like the idea but for me it’s a perfect “mission IAmPossible-7”. Believe it or not but its next level of awesomeness to me. Alright without much overhype, ABee proudly presents his next innovation, “CHANGE”.

I just love ‘CHANGE’.. Bhakti is the best person to ask if you doubt that. From gym, cricket, table tennis, dancing, squash, lawn tennis, swimming, jogging, yoga to homemade programs. From regular journey roads, hair-cut, beard, tattoo craze, my looks, girl-friends to wife ;), I’ve always starved for ‘CHANGE’. (Just got a slap from behind) Oops…. Did I say wife?? Remove her from the list. She’s like my blood group, can’t change it even if I want to. The idea is to break the freaking regular CONSTANT life’s flow. I hate the same freaking boring routine & so does everybody (I guess so). Wake-up, poop, fun part (swim, tennis etc [2nd best part of the day]), office, lunch, office, tea, office, dinner & freaking office & at the end 1st bestest part of the day. (damn, you dirty minded people, by 1st bestest part I mean Love.. pure, true, pleasant love.)
freak-out-eyes ‘Office’, did you notice that boring word repeated 4 times. Lately working on Android made me another android; ya, bloody robot. The formal is green buddy while the later android is red.. bloody red robot. Last few days made me realize how cruel the world is. The dominator will keep dominating & the weaker will keep getting slaughtered. I’m tired of looking at it. People around me has surrendered & accepted the way things are. Even I’m one of them & that’s why this freaky “CHANGE” virus has woken-up. How wonderful & awesome it would be to quit job & freak-out or do something that I always wanted to do for a while & re-join job once this “CHANGE” asks for another ‘change’. It's not that some people have willpower and some don't. It's that some people are ready to ‘change’ and others are not.
Another Point is to get out of regular flow life, do something new, and do something you always wanted to do, meet new people, more & more people. There’s this phrase called “out of box thinking”, I would say why to sit inside box & think of outside, rather fly out of the box & than start thinking. Wake your left brain to the new limits. Try yourself!!! Only you can change your life, no-one else can do it for you.
Few CHANGES that I want to have in life are,

  • lets_get_freakyChange profession.
    • Join some college (with lots of chicks) as professor.
    • Do some study.
    • Join Army…
    • Finish my secret project ;)
  • Change organization.
  • Swim, swim, play, play… & die hard!!!
  • Just roam around the state/country.
  • Get so many tattoos.
  • Do nothing or get freaky like this baby!! –>
  • Change wife. (satak…another tight slap.. I’m not writing blog next time if she’s sitting behind me).
No… I’m serious, I really am!! Other than the last item I really want to give it a try. (You never know, you may hear news of my resignation and get to see my new avatar at any time.) Getting married at early age has one disadvantage, yes; you cannot try any of above things that easily. Dependency, that’s the ONLY thing that’s stopping me right now. Now looking for another source of income to handle that dependency. Any suggestion??? (Other than male prostitution & pole dance…)
Although there few consequences that I may have to face after my decision, I’m ready to face them all. After all nobody came with everything when they were born. I’m ready to start again. Ready to fall in love with life again….!!!!
Peace :)

25 લાઇફ લેસન્સ Cause Zindagi na milegi dubara..

Zindagi-Na-Milegi-Dobara
Benny Lewis, a vegetarian from Cavan Ireland, who don’t drink & thinks of himself a “technomad” - a full-time technology-enabled globe-trotter, came up with this these 25 life lesions. Read more about him @ http://www.fluentin3months.com/about/
I found them beautiful, true & touchy so thought i should shared it with you ppl. Incase  you’ve seen movie ‘Zindagi na milegi dubara’, you’ll love reading them. If haven’t seen it yet, damn you!!!!
Special thanks to “jay vadavada” for bringing these in Anavrut!!!

Day 4: Champaner day!!!!

Hmmm… Sometimes I find weekend boring. Why??? Because it comes wrapped in same old packet. Sit watch tv, play games, visit home. What’s the difference. I’m kindda guy who believe in change or some spike in life. So finally decided to visit champaner, that’s what have made my day J

Five amazing things happened today are,

My trip didn’t get cancel for champaner.
Ya, they always screw this one at the last minute. I’m talking about my frnds. They don’t have this gut to wake up in the morning and start amazing day with some adventure. Rather they are those lazy ppl, who wakes up at 11, eats, drinks & again fall asleep.

So finally I had decided to move there alone if nobody is interested. (of course chaku is counted as default joinee). Even though I asked few to join incase they have it in them. And as usual they(roma, pathik, himanshu, hiral, vidhi, vivek etc)  agreed and changed their mind on last minute which ended up this trip with “just the two of us”.

I’m glad I went there.

Water expectation satisfied.
The scary thing that I imagine in my mind while planning trip was my friends shouting at me that અરે યાર ટ્રીપ ટ્રીપ  કરતો  તો  પણ  પાણી  તો  છે    નહિ. This rain is so લુચ્ચી. It disappears whenever we want it and comes whenever we don’t want it. Lukka chuppi!!
But thank god, he made some reservation specially for my trip. Initially reaching there I felt yes there won’t be any water. Still entering the jungle keeping fingure crossed found 2 waterfalls. (where me and chaku enjoyed freaking chilled water for half an hour.)

Thank you God.

Free Flying peacock
Here the word “free” doesn’t mean ek par ek free. Ya first thing what amazed me was to see a peacock. It’s pretty rare now. Only place you get to see them is in zoo (which is also not having them now). When is the last time you saw a peacock enjoying his freedom?

I did it. It was an amazing feeling. I ran after it to take a snap when I saw him sitting on a tree. It jumped from the tree as soon as he me struggling to find my camera. Than I decided to run after it & suddenly he started flying again. I saw it fly 150 meter distance and suddenly disappearing in jungle.

This will be legendary moment of my life.

Food attack.
Any food tastes better when you eat it in your hunger. Now imagine replacing “Any food” with “delicious food”. We had the same experience. We got hungry, after wondering in jungle.
Sarvottam was the place my frnd’s decided to eat when I went pavagadh with them 5 years ago. We couldn’t enjoy it than cause I met with an accident and was on edge of dying. J
Chaku started ordering like she’s hasn’t had food in her entire life. She wanted every damn dishesh. Started with lassi, soup, tea, sev usan, paneer tata tak, butter roti, idli sambhar, etc etc. Food was great.

Chakli’s assignment submission

Finally her assignment for B.ED., were submitted and got signed also. Went to university before going champaner. By the way એક બે છોકરીઓ લાઇન પણ  મારતી તી મને !!! ;)

Day 3: Friday was FUNDOO day!!!

These positive things working pretty well for me so I think. I’m gonna make a habit. Planning to write another blog containing 3 positive things of the day. I’m searching for a name.. Any suggestion?

Anyways here are today’s 5 positive things happened to me.

Nice morning Jogging even without music.

Ahaa!!! When is the last time you had enjoyed ur time without any distraction? Distractions like music, movie, tv, internet etc. I know you probably will argue (like chaku does) that they are for pleasure and enjoyment only. No they are not. You won’t learn that unless you’ll leave it for a while. I’ve tried in last 2 months. Leaving news-paper (week), music(7 days), psp (5 days) etc etc.

Let your mind be free. Free of unnecessary noises & voices & infos for a while. Just give it a try… It’s baap of awesomeness… I had this same baap of awesomeness feeling in garden today when I finally ran for half n hour without earn plugs funcking in my ears.

Great day at office at end with bug fixing.

I felt I was screwed with these constant feedbacks from customer on the last moment. But then gave my 100% (though it came a little late in day) and resolved many issues. Night was beautiful after it.

Bataka paua…

That’s my favorite snack (which I’m getting in dinner now :D) . A smile suddenly was blinking on face when she told me that she’s made bataka paua in dinner. After positive office day, this was another reason for a very good evening.

FUNDOO time with honey at night.

Had fun full evening with baby. Laughed too much remembering old days.!!!!

Tea-time chit chat… with frnds.

It all started for fixing the trip for champaner but eventually ended up discussing “savita bhabhi” (my fav) with few friends. + mara smart joke to kharaj :D
5 Positive things happened with Chaki
      1. Finally my lession plans are complted and ready for submission.
      2. Had a great FUNDOO time with lavu at evening.
      3. It was mom’s b’day and I wished earlier than my Bro.
      4. Abhlu came early (8:30 is early now) today and had hell lot of time together. J
      5. Enjoyed my evening tv serial with tea.

Day 1: Kick start of Positivity

Oh!!! It wasn’t that tough to get 5 positive points for the day.

    Woke up early.

    image

Ya I know it may not be a big deal for some of you but its pretty important for me. Waking up just even little late, messes up with my complete schedule. My bed tea, poopy time, exercise/jogging schedule etc etc. I woke up from the bed in just one shot. Bolle to rock n roll at 6:25 a.m.

Spent half an hour for myself.

As soon as I get some I put myself into next task it can be anything, watching tv, game on psp, tv series, music or anything, which eventually left no time for myself. By myself here I mean to say for my SOUL. Watching tv, psp, music is to please your senses but spending quite moments with yourself is to please or recharge your soul.

    It’s very simple.

    • Sit relaxed on bed /lie down on bed.
    • Take deep breaths (should be done in 5 seconds) holding it for 20 seconds & then releasing it slowly (should be done in 10 seconds)
    • Feel your heart beat & count them to gain focus.
    • After continuing above for 10-15 minutes, try to gain focus on your thoughts.

THAT’S IT… Easy right? He he he!! Not so hurry buddy. It’s tough but must must must thing to do.

Fixed quite a few bugs today.

Office day was normal. I was able to fix many bugs for android release I’m having on Friday. Tomorrow is gonna be judgment day.

Number of પપ્પી got from chaku was around 50 only.

This may sound weird to some of you but yes number of પપ્પી I got from my HON was under 100 today (which happens quite rarely). Sometime I get fed up with her constant involvement/attack on my chicks. Chicks start shouting NO NO NO, but she’s like sehvag who once gets started can’t be stopped.

Stayed back home while I was supposed to go to office.

I didn’t want to make my Thursday dirty with lots of pending things to do, so I was thinking of coming late to office. At the last moment I’ve decided not to go there, spend time with HON (may be we’ll watch TERE BIN LADEN now). I’ll reach office early tomorrow. ;)

And ya it’s not necessary for you people to write as much as i’ve written regarding ur 5 + points. You can write it in સંક્ષેપ as chaki does.

    Positive points from Chaki.

    1. I was supposed to get my assignment signed by B.ED. faculty which was done in lunch time.
    2. Nice time with AB with morning, which eventually made me laugh even when I was walking alone in garden.
    3. This tooth pain was lower compare to yesterday.
    4. Day at school was good. Got 2 free lectures finally which I’m getting pretty rarely these days.
    5. I was able to take out 20-25 minutes for B.ED. reading.

Have a good night every one!!! See ya tomorrow with second positive day.

    5 days of positivity!!

Ya ya ya!! Some of you FUN loving ppl may not find this interesting, but yes, I’m gonna write about some experiments I’m doing these days.
Those who are living around me must have read me leaving outside food for month or quitting social n/wing for weeks, leaving news paper for a while etc etc.
The reason behind leaving these all items is
      1. Mind Control
      2. Check your power will.
I’ll write more about it in separate blog but today I’m starting one more thing for week, which is to indulge myself into the ‘pleasure of positivity’. I learned this technique from Shunty.
Although note that I’m not at all negative thinking person, I still wanted to give it a try to strengthen my thinking & guiding my followers (which don’t exist) on the same path.
      REMEMBER:
To get rid of Negativity your job is not to find your negative points, but to find every possible POSITIVE thing in your life.                                                             -Swami Abhishekanand.
The task is simple and easy. Write down 5 positive things happened to you in a day. It can be anything, any damn thing.. e.g.

    1. Reached home early from office. (Are u kidding!!)

    2. Won a carom game at office!!!

    3. Bought new clothes.
Nothing to lose here so every one of you can give it a try. Me and ‘My HON’ is starting it from tomorrow.
      ઓકે તો કાલે મળશું મારા અને તમારા હકારાત્મક વિચારો સાથે..  ત્યાં સુધી બધાને મારા "જય શ્રી કૃષ્ણ"

    Top 10 Gandhigiri rulezz…

gandhi_1942 I’m not sure what made me write this, but after reading Mahatma Gandhiji’s autobiography (I’m still not finished with it) i decided to tickle over net to see what i can find about him. I couldn’t stretch myself further after hitting with one of the page showing his Top 10 fundamental which changed the world (India’s map as well). Hope you find it worth reading twice, Help spread the Gandhigiri ;)

“You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.”
“The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would suffice to solve most of the world’s problem.”

    1. Change yourself.

“You must be the change you want to see in the world.”
“As human beings, our greatness lies not so much in being able to remake the world – that is the myth of the atomic age – as in being able to remake ourselves.”

    2. You are in control.

“Nobody can hurt me without my permission.”

    3. Forgive and let it go.

“The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.”
“An eye for eye only ends up making the whole world blind.”

    4. Without action you aren’t going anywhere.

“An ounce of practice is worth more than tons of preaching.”

    5. Take care of this moment.

“I do not want to foresee the future. I am concerned with taking care of the present. God has given me no control over the moment following.”

    6. Everyone is human.

“I claim to be a simple individual liable to err like any other fellow mortal. I own, however, that I have humility enough to confess my errors and to retrace my steps.”
“It is unwise to be too sure of one’s own wisdom. It is healthy to be reminded that the strongest might weaken and the wisest might err.”

    7. Persist.

“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.”

    8. See the good in people and help them.

“I look only to the good qualities of men. Not being faultless myself, I won’t presume to probe into the faults of others.”

“Man becomes great exactly in the degree in which he works for the welfare of his fellow-men.”

“I suppose leadership at one time meant muscles; but today it means getting along with people.”

    9. Be congruent, be authentic, be your true self.

“Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.”

“Always aim at complete harmony of thought and word and deed. Always aim at purifying your thoughts and everything will be well.”

    10. Continue to grow and evolve.

”Constant development is the law of life, and a man who always tries to maintain his dogmas in order to appear consistent drives himself into a false position.”

You can pretty much always improve your skills, habits or re-evaluate your evaluations. You can gain deeper understanding of yourself and the world.

Help spread the article if you liked it..(loved it!!!)

    Adios!!! ;)

    Time Mgmt Tips...

Just when i come to Singapore i realize how important time management is, went pass by a tweet about bullets points for time manangement. Sharing them to share with others ;)

When you take control of your time, you take control of your life!
    • Start your day with a plan of action (make your to-do list the night before) (I've already started it here.)
    • Maintain balance in your life (I do)
    • Get enough sleep (I do)
    • Be flexible (I need to work on this)
    • Don’t be a perfectionist ( You kidding!! I'm not )
    • Reward yourself (I do)
    • Don’t waste waiting time (use this time wisely) (I do waste time in waiting.. So need to work on it.)
    • If you can’t sleep, don’t waste time lying in bed, get up and do something (learned from Dr. Wayne Dyer) (I liked this one.)
    • Plan more (I do)
    • Don’t waste time regretting your failures, just look ahead and be excited about the future. (I do)
    • Trust your instincts and believe in yourself. (I do)
    • Before you start a task, ask yourself WHY are you doing it, if your answer is not convincing, do something else! (Need to work on it)
    • Allow yourself to relax and do nothing for BRIEF periods, and don’t feel guilty about it. (I'm pro in this.)
    • PRIORITIZE your to-do-list (I do)

    3 Things in life

I'm not going to write long lecture or any heath tips. I was visiting my favorite sites and came through one question "What 3 Habit Changes Are Your Top Priorities?" It didn't take much time as i've been on them for some time. But that raised few more questions. I tried answering them as well.
Questions and answers goes like this for me,

What 3 Habit Changes Are Your Top Priorities?
    1. Stop eating lots of sweets. (I’m still slim though)
    2. Stop thinking that success comes at price of freedom.
    3. Daily exercise or yoga or sports.

What 3 things you would like to change about your past?
    1. My basic education medium. I should have been throughout in English medium.
    2. I would proposed 'BhAkti'(my wife/love/etc..) a little early & i would have never proposed 'Dipti'(my college girl)
    3. My sitting habits at office.

    Your 3 short time goal.
I've already written them in my earlier blog.
    1. Clear SCJP exam.
    2. Get body in shape (at least reduce my waist It’s 31 right now. Target is 29) or at least get rid off RSI.
    3. Shoot a movie.

I’d love to hear from all of you! Share in the comments.
Please, write about your 3 things.

How not to do MULTI TASK.

Software industry is all about working on many small things at the same time. Working on two or more task at once (which we do all the time), while PL has placed two new demands on your desk. You’re on the phone while three new emails come in (I don't keep phone just for that. I hate mobile). You are trying to get out the door on time so you can pick up a few groceries on the way home for dinner(or my wife will kill me). Damn!!! Welcome to the multitasking world.

My favorite blog zenhabits came out with some point about how not to do multi tasking. I really liked them all.

First, a few quick reasons not to multi-task:
Multi-tasking is less efficient, due to the need to switch gears for each new task, and the switch back again.

Multi-tasking is more complicated, and thus more prone to stress and errors.

Multi-tasking can be crazy, and in this already chaotic world, we need to reign in the terror and find a little oasis of sanity and calm.

Here are some tips on how NOT to multi-task:

    1. First set up to-do lists for different contexts (i.e. calls, computer, errands, home, waiting-for, etc.) depending on your situation.

    2. Have a capture tool (such as a notebook) for instant notes on what needs to be done.

    3. Have a physical and email inbox (as few inboxes as possible) so that all incoming stuff is gathered together in one place (one for paper stuff, one for digital).

    4. Plan your day in blocks, with open blocks in between for urgent stuff that comes up. You might try one-hour blocks, or half-hour blocks, depending on what works for you. Or try this: 40 minute blocks, with 20 minutes in between them for miscellaneous tasks. (I do that and really really effective)

    5. First thing in the morning, work on your Most Important Task. Don’t do anything else until this is done. Give yourself a short break, and then start on your next Most Important Task. If you can get 2-3 of these done in the morning, the rest of the day is gravy.

    6. When you are working on a task in a time block, turn off all other distractions. Shut off email, and the Internet if possible. Shut off your cell phone. Try not to answer your phone if possible. Focus on that one task, and try to get it done without worrying about other stuff.

    7. If you feel the urge to check your email or switch to another task, stop yourself. Breathe deeply. Re-focus yourself. Get back to the task at hand.

    8. If other things come in while you’re working, put them in the inbox, or take a note of them in your capture system. Get back to the task at hand.

    9. Every now and then, when you’ve completed the task at hand, process your notes and inbox, adding the tasks to your to-do lists and re-figuring your schedule if necessary. Process your email and other inboxes at regular and pre-determined intervals.

    10. There are times when an interruption is so urgent that you cannot put it off until you’re done with the task at hand. In that case, try to make a note of where you are (writing down notes if you have time) with the task at hand, and put all the documents or notes for that task together and aside (perhaps in an “action” folder or project folder). Then, when you come back to that task, you can pull out your folder and look at your notes to see where you left off.
    11. Take deep breaths, stretch, and take breaks now and then. Enjoy life. Go outside, and appreciate nature. Keep yourself sane. (MOST FAVOURITE)
