CHANGE…e..ee…ehhh.. oohh..yeh..

change-greensign At the end of the blog you might think I was drunk while writing this, so let me clarify first “Daddy doesn’t drink”. I think it’s sperm of surat’s rain & holiday feeling which has given birth to this krakalaka idea.. aumm.. bole to sanki idea. I may sound little cranky or loose screw if you don’t like the idea but for me it’s a perfect “mission IAmPossible-7”. Believe it or not but its next level of awesomeness to me. Alright without much overhype, ABee proudly presents his next innovation, “CHANGE”.

I just love ‘CHANGE’.. Bhakti is the best person to ask if you doubt that. From gym, cricket, table tennis, dancing, squash, lawn tennis, swimming, jogging, yoga to homemade programs. From regular journey roads, hair-cut, beard, tattoo craze, my looks, girl-friends to wife ;), I’ve always starved for ‘CHANGE’. (Just got a slap from behind) Oops…. Did I say wife?? Remove her from the list. She’s like my blood group, can’t change it even if I want to. The idea is to break the freaking regular CONSTANT life’s flow. I hate the same freaking boring routine & so does everybody (I guess so). Wake-up, poop, fun part (swim, tennis etc [2nd best part of the day]), office, lunch, office, tea, office, dinner & freaking office & at the end 1st bestest part of the day. (damn, you dirty minded people, by 1st bestest part I mean Love.. pure, true, pleasant love.)
freak-out-eyes ‘Office’, did you notice that boring word repeated 4 times. Lately working on Android made me another android; ya, bloody robot. The formal is green buddy while the later android is red.. bloody red robot. Last few days made me realize how cruel the world is. The dominator will keep dominating & the weaker will keep getting slaughtered. I’m tired of looking at it. People around me has surrendered & accepted the way things are. Even I’m one of them & that’s why this freaky “CHANGE” virus has woken-up. How wonderful & awesome it would be to quit job & freak-out or do something that I always wanted to do for a while & re-join job once this “CHANGE” asks for another ‘change’. It's not that some people have willpower and some don't. It's that some people are ready to ‘change’ and others are not.
Another Point is to get out of regular flow life, do something new, and do something you always wanted to do, meet new people, more & more people. There’s this phrase called “out of box thinking”, I would say why to sit inside box & think of outside, rather fly out of the box & than start thinking. Wake your left brain to the new limits. Try yourself!!! Only you can change your life, no-one else can do it for you.
Few CHANGES that I want to have in life are,

  • lets_get_freakyChange profession.
    • Join some college (with lots of chicks) as professor.
    • Do some study.
    • Join Army…
    • Finish my secret project ;)
  • Change organization.
  • Swim, swim, play, play… & die hard!!!
  • Just roam around the state/country.
  • Get so many tattoos.
  • Do nothing or get freaky like this baby!! –>
  • Change wife. (satak…another tight slap.. I’m not writing blog next time if she’s sitting behind me).
No… I’m serious, I really am!! Other than the last item I really want to give it a try. (You never know, you may hear news of my resignation and get to see my new avatar at any time.) Getting married at early age has one disadvantage, yes; you cannot try any of above things that easily. Dependency, that’s the ONLY thing that’s stopping me right now. Now looking for another source of income to handle that dependency. Any suggestion??? (Other than male prostitution & pole dance…)
Although there few consequences that I may have to face after my decision, I’m ready to face them all. After all nobody came with everything when they were born. I’m ready to start again. Ready to fall in love with life again….!!!!
Peace :)

Cause Zindagi na milegi dubara..

Zindagi-Na-Milegi-Dobara
Benny Lewis, a vegetarian from Cavan Ireland, who don’t drink & thinks of himself a “technomad” - a full-time technology-enabled globe-trotter, came up with this these 25 life lesions. Read more about him @ http://www.fluentin3months.com/about/
I found them beautiful, true & touchy so thought i should shared it with you ppl. Incase  you’ve seen movie ‘Zindagi na milegi dubara’, you’ll love reading them. If haven’t seen it yet, damn you!!!!
Special thanks to “jay vadavada” for bringing these in Anavrut!!!

INK me baby, one more time!!

I was may be 12, when I lost my virgin skin. No I didn’t meet any Michal Jackson stuff here. It was the time when I got my first tattoo. It was my aunt who forced me to get god name inked on my hand. With little scariness, little excitement & little more curious to show my courage I decided to take on. That sadakchap tattoo artist took hardly 5 minutes to name it. Mom was little shocked when she show it & later relieved by fact that it’s GOD name tattoo.

The second opportunity rang the bell at Singapore. She was angy(a Singaporean friend) , who first inspired me to get a tattoo. She showed me all her glittering, girlish tattoos. On hands, leg & near ya… really near to 7sleep-walkher private part as well. I got ready to get 1 until I heard the cost which was around 600SGD, which is equal to my total savings of that trip. If I would have got that then I might have received a free permanent tattoo on face after bhakti’s punch. ;) But still Idea wasn’t leaving my mind. Then it was in the national park where I saw an awesome CHINKI doing tattoo. I’m not sure what drag me over there, was it her tattoos or her beauty?? It drove me to her like a person taking sleep walk?

10SGD, that it??? OMG, I took my t-shirt out ASAP. I selected design and just lay down… No …no.. no.. Not with her, of course. With 100 of thoughts running in my mind, will bhakti like this? Will this look good on me? Will this CHINKI’s hand on my back tingle? Will it hurt? Etc etc. By the time I answered these questions myself the tattoo part was done. WHAT? That smooth?? Yah… baby. Reaching home I felt like I wasted those 350ruppees over that freaking TEMPORARY tattoo. Yah it was not permanent. Damn it!! %#$% #$%#$%. CHINKI never told me either.
Anyways, so coming back to the present again the bhoot or craze of tattoo is back. I went through many designs, wasted 2 days but still not able to find that exact punch line tattoo design so far. At the end, I decided to go with two tattoos. 1 in Sanskrit (which is too hard to find) & 2nd in Tibetan language. I need some advice here, which one should I get for Sanskrit?? Choices are below. HELP, HELP, HELP…..
P.S. All voters will get a cutting chai ;)
  • I love you more = त्वामधिकमनुरजामि
  • ONLY WE CAN FREE OUR MINDS =
  • Beautiful mistake =
  • Become your destiny =
  • Peace comes from within = शांतिरंतरतः आगच्छति
  • everything will be ok in the end. If it is not ok, it is not the end.=सर्वं सुष्ठु भविष्यत्यंते।
More Tibetan tatto also coming soon ;) Plz plz plz vote…………

I love ma' India (Err... ahmm..., Sarcasm!!!)

We_Love_India_copy Ya, we’re taught above sentence (without brackets) from the moment we enter our school & before Independence Day. Just like a magician's parrot we also starts accepting it & shouting it. Some of us really mean it & some are like that magician's parrot & leftover are ones who don't mind loving this country as far as it stays as their medium for making money or survival (RSS & 'balthakre' kinda ppl).
No, No... I'm not going to write about some patriotic bullshit speech here. I'm just trying to list down few KINDA ppl who have made me loose my temper many times & are culprit for making this wonderful country, a country of 'poor' & 'stupid' peoples.
You can add more if you know any more KIND of.

Spitters

I wish if 'paan' & tobacco could produce different color when bastards spit them on road or on Gov. Buildings. That way we could have saved lots of money in paining of building & would have gained beautifully painted building just for free. It's one of the reasons why some of us (including me) hate to visit Gov. Offices or Gov. Bus stand. Screw them all!!!

One rule that government should re-evaluate is the rule of helmet. I think it should be changed & ppl should be forced to wear Helmet with raincoat. Do you even know why we have rule for helmet (hint: it's not for safety), ya, it's to save your wonderful clothes & face from the spit of the person driving in front of you. I wonder if they would be feeling like they are God & doing some 'amrita chhatkav' on their followers. My fight count with such people has reached to 2. Screw them all!!!

Blower

No I’m not talking about those prostitutes who offer to blow you or any cheap college girl who blows you for free ;).
This is about those butt head people who think that blowing horn on road is their fucking fundamental right for living. These actually are people who are suffering for attention. (Only attention they get is from my 'S' who would be please to sh*t on them.) They buy cars and can't resist showing them to others, if nobody notices than they gets pissed off and starts blowing horn.
May Hippopotamus would rape them all.

Public place smokers

Another status symbol to rectify a wasted life. Few 'SOBitch' also smokes while driving bike, to make them wonderFOOL smart. They only become 'art', a shitty peace of art which even the worst museum would reject. They are biggest looser. 2nd category is those who smoke in public transports like bus & trains. I wish if i could put their cigarette in their butthole and make them feel SMOKINGGGG...

Manners

We all know un-education ruins our country but what about those educated bastards??? One latest experience was visit to pavagadh. There are few very beautiful temples & empty masons kinda places beautifully crafted. And now they are re-crafted with lame writings like, "i love you seema", "haresh loves sushma"!! Fuck your bastards!! Why don't you write it on each other's ‘ass’ets?
You'll see these writing on great sculptures, toilets, trains, behind bus seats on school/college benches. If you're not that good with DESI slang words try any of above places it'll make sure your slang dictionary gets 200% richer with new & innovative words.

Mobile Phone Users

One of the best innovations of decade may also turn out to be pain in the ass sometimes. I wish there was a procedure to buy a phone, just like we have procedure for driving license. These people first buys cheapest phone the make loudest noise & hopes over the on train. (Trains are special victim). Then they start paying play those 'ghise pite' songs, which even the original singer would deny to sing now.
Another bunch of people will should shout on phone to make all other feel you are more important person than USA President. They think the more they should and more the chances are that 'Osama bin laden' would surrender to them.
During my recent journey a man spent 5 min figuring out who’s calling him and after wasted efforts he repent that he could not talk with some stranger. And finally he made a scene out of it like he just missed a call from alien living in some other world.

Reservation fighters.

Don't take it personally if any Gujjar is reading it, but they really suck (those who are fighting for reservation & creating problem for other innocents.) This is a great feature provided by India. If you're not good worker, don't think you can do much & go on strike, stop public transport, fire few shops & that's it, you'll hit the jackpot after that.
Eventually it turns out in non-productive output from those suckers. This happens in school, college, Gov. Job and every possible place. Reservation sucks, its fighters are suckers & leftovers gets sucked!!!

Bribe

From your birth certificate to death certification every Gov. Department loves above word, 'bribe'!! For them it's an open bride & screwing is their primary reason for getting job. I won't write much about them because my hatred words would go far beyond your imagination. But face it, from powar & raja to kalmadi each SOBitch is sitting there eating our hardly earned money & buggers like manmohan is helpless watching it!!! May the hell reserve their worst tactics for these MF*ckers.
Ahhhhhhh!! Now I’m relieved! I was holding this burden of facing all above kinda people. The only person i was sharing it with was my beloved chaki but it feels more relieved after writing/bursting it down. I still wish i could beat all of them which would lead me to my imagined ZEN life.
I love ma' India...
..
.. Huh!!!

TweetDeck for Android

TweetDeck is a popular Twitter & Facebook Client for Windows and now stepping on Android platform. TweetDeck for Android v0.9 beta was published on official blog and then was immediately removed and in the mean time it was leaked all over the web. I got lucky to have the application (i also have it’s apk file… ;)

Apart from Twitter, it also supports Facebook, Google Buzz and FourSquare (i don’t know what this is). The interface is just like the Adobe AIR application for Windows with same color combination. In twitter, it has a feature to add Geotag, Tweet Photo, etc. Moreover, you can add columns for Friends, your own timeline and whatever you like which is same as the desktop application.
Here are some screenshots taken from Motorola Droid ;)

1. Application Start-up.
2.Home Feeds (Both T & F)
3. Posting Update.
4. Tweet summay.

So far the application looks promising, much more to explore, much more to ROCK ;)……
Do try the APP.. You can download the .apk file from here.

5 days of positivity!!

Ya ya ya!! Some of you FUN loving ppl may not find this interesting, but yes, I’m gonna write about some experiments I’m doing these days.
Those who are living around me must have read me leaving outside food for month or quitting social n/wing for weeks, leaving news paper for a while etc etc.
The reason behind leaving these all items is
    1. Mind Control
    2. Check your power will.
I’ll write more about it in separate blog but today I’m starting one more thing for week, which is to indulge myself into the ‘pleasure of positivity’. I learned this technique from Shunty.
Although note that I’m not at all negative thinking person, I still wanted to give it a try to strengthen my thinking & guiding my followers (which don’t exist) on the same path.
    REMEMBER:
To get rid of Negativity your job is not to find your negative points, but to find every possible POSITIVE thing in your life.                                                             -Swami Abhishekanand.
The task is simple and easy. Write down 5 positive things happened to you in a day. It can be anything, any damn thing.. e.g.

  1. Reached home early from office. (Are u kidding!!)

  2. Won a carom game at office!!!

  3. Bought new clothes.
Nothing to lose here so every one of you can give it a try. Me and ‘My HON’ is starting it from tomorrow.

What side are you in? Love or Lust?

Love…. For some of the alive human beings event this simple & smallest word brings up a smile or shy. For others its just another excuse to get into a girl’s pants (or skirts .. J) I’m kind person who fall in between this category. I’m sure there would be millions more like me. Anyways I’m not here to talk about, typical difference between love & lust, cause answer for it can be pretty straight forward where love is simply associated with emotions & affection & later on is related dot dot dot (you know what :D)

lust_or_love_57595 Love and lust goes hand in hand, they are dependent of each other. Important of both the emotions should not be .. wait wait.. must not be ignored. Love and Lust both goes hand in hand, and matter of fact I doubt true love would exist between man & woman (wait wait.. man & man also and… woman & woman also lol… ) [Spare the love of mother and child here.. .we’re not talking about it here.. ] so where was i???

          .

          .

Oh ya I doubt true love would exist without even minor existence of lust.

Two things that both love and lust have common are,

  • They start with letter ‘L’… (sorry.. just kidding)

clip_image001

  • They both are blind.

clip_image003

It’s hard for some people to figure out whether they’re in winner of love or victim of lust, those whose strongly believe that they are in love, that feeling might just be a burst of boiling blood crawling for short time, which when given proper time turns out to be a mistake only. Time is the only factor that can judge your existence in love or lust.

In love even an object is elevated to life, stones & trees speaks to you; the sun, the moon (I just remembered a son here, ‘chand sitare phul aur khsbu… crap.. what the hell am I singing…!!! how pathetic!!!!!.. never mind) ya the sun, moon, the entire creation becomes alive & divine. But in lust even a living being becomes merely an object. An object to fulfill your desires & needs.

I’m not sure where these blog is heading to as I’m unable to express what exactly I wanted to write about and what I’ve been writing till now. So that’s it I’m giving up from here. Hope you won’t mind.. (and even if you do mind it… WTH).

P.S

When I met her I used to think I’m the only person in world who is in love.

When I got her Lust came free with her.

When I got married I’m in love again.. so much in love…

What side are you in????

Top 10 Gandhigiri rulezz…

gandhi_1942 I’m not sure what made me write this, but after reading Mahatma Gandhiji’s autobiography (I’m still not finished with it) i decided to tickle over net to see what i can find about him. I couldn’t stretch myself further after hitting with one of the page showing his Top 10 fundamental which changed the world (India’s map as well). Hope you find it worth reading twice, Help spread the Gandhigiri ;)

“You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.”
“The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would suffice to solve most of the world’s problem.”

1. Change yourself.

“You must be the change you want to see in the world.”
“As human beings, our greatness lies not so much in being able to remake the world – that is the myth of the atomic age – as in being able to remake ourselves.”

2. You are in control.

“Nobody can hurt me without my permission.”

3. Forgive and let it go.

“The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.”
“An eye for eye only ends up making the whole world blind.”

4. Without action you aren’t going anywhere.

“An ounce of practice is worth more than tons of preaching.”

5. Take care of this moment.

“I do not want to foresee the future. I am concerned with taking care of the present. God has given me no control over the moment following.”

6. Everyone is human.

“I claim to be a simple individual liable to err like any other fellow mortal. I own, however, that I have humility enough to confess my errors and to retrace my steps.”
“It is unwise to be too sure of one’s own wisdom. It is healthy to be reminded that the strongest might weaken and the wisest might err.”

7. Persist.

“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.”

8. See the good in people and help them.

“I look only to the good qualities of men. Not being faultless myself, I won’t presume to probe into the faults of others.”

“Man becomes great exactly in the degree in which he works for the welfare of his fellow-men.”

“I suppose leadership at one time meant muscles; but today it means getting along with people.”

9. Be congruent, be authentic, be your true self.

“Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.”

“Always aim at complete harmony of thought and word and deed. Always aim at purifying your thoughts and everything will be well.”

10. Continue to grow and evolve.

”Constant development is the law of life, and a man who always tries to maintain his dogmas in order to appear consistent drives himself into a false position.”

You can pretty much always improve your skills, habits or re-evaluate your evaluations. You can gain deeper understanding of yourself and the world.

Help spread the article if you liked it..(loved it!!!)

Adios!!! ;)

Google Nexus One Vs iPHONE

Until Google announced about the Nexus One there are many rumors and guesses. If you look at the leaked information of Nexus One most of them are very much true. Even the leaked pricing information of Nexus One is accurate. Many people are very much interested in the Google Nexus One but many are unclear if it would be a better choice to choose Nexus One over iPhone 3GS. Below are some of the points which will give you clear differences between iPhone 3GS and Nexus One thus helping you to choose the better one.

Detailed Comparision Between Google Nexus One and Apple iPhone 3GS

CPU and Memory – Nexus One vs iPhone 3GS

Google Nexus One is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD 8250 which runs at 1GHz and has 512MB RAM. If you take iPhone 3GS it runs on a Samsung S5PC100 ARM Cortex-A8 600MHz processor and there is just 256MB RAM. This clearly indicates that Nexus One has got more processing power than the iPhone 3GS.

Camera – Nexus One vs iPhone 3GS

In this aspect Nexus One definitely gets more points as it has a 5MP camera when compared to the 3.2MP camera of iPhone 3GS. The other notable point here is the flash that is present in Nexus One. Even the video resolution will be better with Nexus One.

Display – Nexus One vs iPhone 3GS

Google Nexus One has got a 3.7″ widescreen WVGA AMOLED touchscreen and supports a resolution of 800×480 pixels. If you take iPhone 3GS it has a bit lower specs. iPhone has a 3.5″ display and supports 480×320 resolution. So the picture quality in Nexus One will be better than iPhone. But iPhone has a Multi-Touch display which is missing in Nexus One.

Size and Weight – Nexus One vs iPhone 3GS

Nexus One gets a very little bit more points here. Nexus One is 11.5mm thick when compared with the iPhone’s 12.3mm thickness. Even Nexus One weighs(130g) lesser than iPhone(135g).

Storage – iPhone 3GS vs Nexus One

When it comes to storage iPhone definitely scores well. Nexus One has got just 512MB Flash and 4GB Micro SD Card (Expandable to 32 GB). When you take iPhone 3GS the storage can be either 16GB or 32GB. I’m not pretty sure why Google hasn’t had a higher storage capacity for Nexus One which is definitely a drawback.

Power and Battery – Nexus One vs iPhone 3GS

In this area I cannot decide the better one. Nexus One has got a removable 1400 mAH battery whereas iPhone has a built-in rechargeable better. It’s always better to have a removable battery and Nexus one gets more points for that. When we speak about Talk time and Standby time iPhone gets more points. Nexus One has a Talk time up to 10 hours on 2G and 7 hours on 3G when compared with iPhone’s 12 hours on 2G and 5 hours on 3G. The Standby time of Nexus One is up to 290 hours on 2G and 250 hours on 3G whereas iPhonehas 300 hours standby. Nexus One has video playback up to 7 hours and audio playback up to 20 hours compared to the iPhone’s 10 hour video playback and 30 hour audio playback.

Applications – iPhone 3GS vs Nexus One

The Apple App store has got millions of Apps for your iPhone whereas Nexus One has got just few thousands in the Android Market. At this point the more number of apps will definitely give iPhone an upper hand over the Nexus One.

The above points clearly states that Nexus One has better features when compare with the iPhone. But we cannot say right now that Nexus One is better than iPhone as usability and Apps that can use the processing power can only tell us which will be a better mobile. Also remember that though there are many mobiles in the market with higher specifications than iPhone they couldn’t yet beat the iPhone.

Singapore: Places to visit

The Republic of Singapore, or better known as Singapore, is an island country located to the South of Peninsular Malaysia. It is the smallest nation in South East Asia. The tourism industry in Singapore is one of the largest and i guess the only industries for the country, with more than 9 million tourists in 2006 alone.

Hereby I'm gonna list out famous places of Singapore, starting from my most favorites to least.

SENTOSA ISLAND

The Sentosa Island is Singapore’s premier island resort getaway with plenty of attractions and filled with events all year round. You can enjoy the Underwater world, Luge skyride, Tiger tower sky, The Merlion (not the famous one), 3D+4D movies, and beach sports as well. I’ve only been able to cover the half part of the Sentosa but whatever it was It was the best one. You better visit this place during the weekend when it’s more crowded.

Getting there : Get to HarbourFront MRT station and entere VivoCity (If you were born rich you can loose some pocket over here, it’s big shopping mall), There is cable car service which takes you to Sentosa.

Find my all Sentosa picture at below url

Underwater World

Singapore’s Underwater World is the largest underwater world in South East Asia. It is situated in the Sentosa Island and is said to be a dream haven which showcases the awe-inspiring beauty of a whole different world beneath the seas. It is home to more than 2500 fishes from over 250 different species. In this Underwater World, you will also see one of the rarest creatures on Earth – the dugong Gracie.

The Merlion

Another night visiting place to get some peace of mind. First time when i went there Merlion was under construction due to lightning fallen on it ( Just imagine it!!) The Merlion is considered to be the mascot of Singapore. It is said to be a mythical beast which is half lion and half fish. It symbolizes courage, resilience and strength of the citizens of Singapore. If you are interested to see this Merlion, there is a 8 meter high status standing at the mouth of the famous Singapore River. Don’t forget to get a picture over her. :)

Getting there : Walk along the riverfront from the Raffles Place MRT Station

Clarke Quay

This is a very popular hangout place for those interested in Singapore’s city nightlife.  In this area, you can find a lot of air-conditioned shop houses, push-carts selling mementos, bars, discos and restaurants. Besides there, you can also find a large variety of handicrafts and souvenirs here. A perfect place for shoppers and diners alike.

Getting there : Head to the Riverfront from Clarke Quay MRT Station

Singapore Flyer Observation Wheel

The Singapore Flyer is the world’s largest observation wheel which provides visitors with stunning views of Singapore’s urban cityscape. Located on the south east of Marina Centre, this 42 stories high Flyer offers visitors view up to about 42 kilometers away – including Batam, Bintan and Johor.

Night Safari

After the The world's first wildlife park built for visits at night, the Night Safari is not like any ordinary zoo illuminated by the night or a modern version of nocturnal houses found in many zoos around the globe.

Nestled in 40 hectares of lush secondary forest, the Night Safari offers guests the unique experience of exploring wildlife in a tropical jungle at night. Through the use of subtle lighting technique, guests are able to view over 1,000 nocturnal animals of 100 species in vast naturalistic habitats.
Singapore Zoo

The Singapore Zoo is among the most popular tourist destination in whole of Asia. It has won numerous awards in the past and is highly praised for its open landscape design where the animals live in enclosures which are pretty similar to their natural habitat. The zoo is filled with a wide variety of exotic animals such as the white tigers, polar bears, elephants and others. There are also special exhibitions once in a while such as the golden monkey exhibition. Other than that, the zoo also offers one of the most interesting Night Safari in the world. In this Night Safari, you will be able to experience wildlife on a 45 minutes long tram ride or you can also take one of the three Walking Trails to get a feel of the park at night. It’s one in a lifetime experience to be able to watch over one hundred of different nocturnal animals.

Getting there : Go to Choa Chu Kang MRT Station, and take SMRT Bus 927which will bring you straight to the zoo. Or, you can choose to go to Ang Mo Kio MRT Station and board SBS Transit bus 138

Jurong Bird Park

The Jurong Bird Park is famous for its open-concept bird park which houses more than 600 species of birds. It is also the largest of its kind in Asia Pacific and has the world’s tallest man-made waterfall. Remember to check out the events in order to attend the world-class All Star Bird Show which the park is famous for.

Google Wave: Next Big Thing

This is driving me crazy, as the launch date draws nearer, I can’t stop thinking how Google Wave can change the landscape of how we communicate and collaborate online. Much has been promised and we have also seen how some of the cool features can improve the way we work.

I have thought of 10 benefits that we can yield from this highly anticipated platform.

The actual benefits are certainly more than what I am about to list. But till then, this is enough to keep us hyped up.

1. Real time news all in one

To get the latest breaking news, Twitter is arguably the fastest. The only thing that is lacking is solid content and a concerted effort to make the news more informative. With Google Wave, a user such as a witness of the incident can edit, add in his or her comments or share knowledge regarding the news. A journalist’s expertise accompanied by witnesses and users’ opinions will certainly improve real time news quality.

2. Cuts down conversation waiting time

SKYPE, the world’s most popular calling an chat application is good but not great. Often, we have to wait for the other party to type their message even though we know he’s typing something out there and hit enter before we can formulate our thoughts and reply. Fortunately, that’s not the case in Google Wave. Whatever your friend is typing at that moment, you can see it appearing real time and start formulating your thoughts for the next message. It’s like a real verbal conversation with friends.

Great Time saver, really you gonna love this feature.

3. Cool extensions for work and play

To Facebook applications, we can expect quite some Google Wave extensions. These extensions are classified as either robots or gadgets. A robot is an automated participant on a Wave. It can read, edit and share outside content to a Wave. It can also create new Waves, blips and add and remove participants. A gadget is like an application like games and survey forms etc. If you’re having fun with Facebook applications, Google Wave could very well provide the same or higher level of entertainment.

4. Multiple users instant messaging gets easy

It is easy to have multiple friends chatting in a Wave. Simply drag and drop their avatar and they are in the conversation! Most of the time when there are multiple users chatting, it is hard to keep track of who is talking to who exactly. Google Wave helps to organize the conversation in a neat threaded fashion.

5. Easy project collaboration

Collaboration is Google Wave’s specialty. Every Wave works like a wiki or a Google doc. It places everyone’s work into one Wave, real time. This is an extremely useful tool during meetings when everyone can take notes and input their thoughts into a single Wave. At the end of the day, everyone gets the same set of meeting notes, ensuring consistency and avoiding miscommunication.

6. Retrace with playback

You’d probably feel lost when you are new to a Wave your friends just added you into. Don’t be afraid, its playback function helps you understand how the conversation or email has evolved to what it is at the current moment. Putting the playback function in the news context, you can literally see how a breaking news was first reported, commented, updated and concluded.

7. Easy file sharing

File sharing is simple on Google Wave. Just drag and drop the files into the intended Wave (with your Wave members in it) and sharing done!

8. Embedding a Wave to your site

Embedding a Wave into your blog allows you and the other users in the Wave to edit or add new content to it via Google Wave. Changes are as usual real time and comments on your blog posting via Google Wave are automatically updated to your blog.

9. Own a Wave

Just like how companies have their own SMTP email server, companies can also have their own Wave technology. I’m looking forward to have it in my company at least c-sam. :)

Abstract of Google explaination:

…To help potential wave providers get started, our plan is to release an open source, production-quality, reference implementation of the Google Wave client and server, as well as provide an open federation endpoint by the time users start getting access.

That means that you can either use Wave hosted on Google’s infrastructure, or you can have it hosted on your own server, without ever sharing data with Google.

10. Competition drives quality

With the number of benefits Google Wave can bring, as a collaborative and communication platform, it will certainly drive up the quality of what competitors (social sites, cloud computing products and etc) are going to provide in the future.

And guess what, we, as the consumers are the beneficiaries again!

At last I'll leave you guys/gals with the developer presentation that Google had while they introduced this NEXT BIG THING to it’s developer.
